”That’s Mie SHO Z”

That’s Mie, our offspring from the lovely That’s Life and our Numero Uno mare Vadermie, is doing a fantastic job with her new owner Charlotte. It makes us very happy to see our horses thriving and successful with their new riders.

”Charlotte Coffee”

I have had That’s Mie Z since March 2024. He is by That’s Life and is out of a Numero Uno mare, Vadermie. In the year that I have been riding him, we have competed in many Junior and U25 140 Grand Prixs and Ranking classes. In April 2025, we were selected to represent Ireland in the Young Riders Nations Cup in which we jumped a clear in the second round helping Ireland secure a podium finish. Mie always fights hard for me in the ring and never gives up which is all anyone could ask for in a horse. He forever instills confidence in me and together he makes it feel like anything is possible. He has been produced so well and is very rideable. This is testament to everyone who worked with him at Stal Het Oosterbrook. He is a very cheeky and loveable character in our stable.

“Charmeur 436 ”

Our dear Chameur brought Gert-Jan and me into the Top 3 placeing of CSI*** the Grand Prix and is now happily living in Mexico with his new owner. At 16 years old, he continues to compete in the Junior division for Mexico. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a horse we bred ourselves bring us so much joy and still, at the highest level in his class, teach a young, talented rider everything he knows. This is a breeding success in every sense.

“Chanyon ”

Chanyon is an exceptional horse. He was bred by Paul Schockemöhle at Lewitz and came to us as a very young and green horse. While he had his challenges, his ability to jump was always evident. As a young horse, it was hard to predict the path he would take. Thanks to the support of our team—it’s certainly not just Gert-Jan’s credit—Chanyon has grown into a remarkable horse over the years with us. Gert-Jan had the privilege of taking him to the Global Champions Tour by Jan Tops.

Later, Paul Schockemöhle and Florin Meyer zu Hartum had a special idea that paid off—the Japanese team. Under Daisuke Fukushima, Chanyon went double-clear in the individual final at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, finishing 6th—a remarkable achievement. Afterward, Chanyon moved to America to join the Holtgers family, where he continued to achieve success with Ansgar Holtger Jr. What an extraordinary horse!

“Katharina Schlosser”

„My time at Stal Het Oosterbrook was fantastic. It was very exciting to be able to work, train and go on shows with such a professional team. I learned a lot and my horse and I felt very comfortable.“

“Jennifer Yifan Zhang”

„I’ve been based by Stal Het Oosterbrook for training since the end of 2023. It’s a pleasure to work with the team here, and I hope we can continue to create a great future together.”

“Eva Kristine Sollie”

For half a year I have been overwhelmed by lovely people, fantastic people, five star training facilities, and I am deeply grateful for friendships that I will never forget.

My horse and I has both developed incredibly much, and I can’t thank enough for all the help that I have received from Pia-Luise and Gert-Jan.
